The birth and development of the door as a lawyer in Milan street

Attorney Street has created the Municipality of Milan, at the Central Station, a point of contact for homeless people. This project will promote the creation of a core of professionals (lawyers, support workers and volunteers) that will operate, acting in an integrated and specific projects in support of the social reintegration of homeless. Users can therefore access the service from an office held in all respects as a true law firm, placed in a strategic, to them as well-known and easily accessible.

Objectives of the project:

> Promoting pathways to social reintegration and legal protection for the homeless and the condition of social exclusion that live in the City of Milan
> Raise awareness among institutions and citizens on issues of social exclusion and protection of rights
> Follow the phenomenon of people in conditions of poverty and social exclusion

Actions planned

- Provision of advice and legal assistance to protect the rights of homeless
- Activation of a support worker for the development of personalized projects aimed at supporting social reintegration pathways
- Report production and quantitative monitoring of the phenomenon
- Creation of awareness raising

Opening hours and receptions

Starting in October 2008 the second and fourth Wednesday of the month from h.15 h.17 to a group of lawyers regarding legal issues of gender will offer free legal protection to all women who present themselves to the doors of Via Lodovico Berti 2/9, Bologna.
